KNITTING 101 (2 Sessions) BEGINNER Monday, Jan 9 & 16--10:30am-12:30pm OR 7-9pm Saturday, Jan 14 & 28---10:30-12:30pm Monday, Feb 6 & 13---10:30am-12:30pm OR 7-9pm Saturday, Feb 18 & 25---1:30-3:30pm Monday, Feb 20 & 27---7-pm Recipe ingredients: 2 sticks and 1 ball of yarn Now take those sticks with the yarn and learn how to cast on and knit in the first session. Then in the second session, learn how to purl and bind off. Finally, take what you have learned and start your first project at the end of the second session! Recipe completed!! Sounds easy, doesn’t it? It truly is....take our class and have some fun!!! FEE - $40 Supplies additional CROCHETING 101 (2 Sessions) BEGINNER Tuesday, Jan 10 & 17---7-9pm Saturday, Jan 14 & 28---1:30-3:30pm Monday, Feb 6 & 13---1:30-3:30pm Saturday, Feb 4 & 11---1:30-3:30pm Tuesday, Feb 21 & 28---7-9pm Step 1: Place hook in hand. Step 2: Place yarn in other hand. Step 3: Now your ready to learn how to crochet!! Learn the basic four stitches in these 2 sessions and at the end of the second session, you will start your first project!! It’s like eating potato chips, once you’ve started, it’s hard to stop... and you’ll be happy you didn’t! If you know how to knit....it is important that you learn basic crochet in case a pattern calls for stitches around the neck edges, etc., and it’s fun! FEE - $40 Supplies additonal SOCKS - SOCKS - SOCKS (3 Sessions) INTERMEDIATE & UP Thursday, Jan 19, 26 & Feb 2---7-9pm Saturday, Feb 4, 11 & 18---10:30am-12:30pm When I talk about “socks”, I get really excited!! This happens to be one of my favorite classes to teach because I get to see the reactions of everyone who takes the class, and that reaction is always favorable! PLUS, at the end of the third session, you have one sock COMPLETED!!!! Using worsted weight yarn is how this sock gets knitted up quickly. Great for the house, clogs, boots and more! When you complete your second sock, then you can graduate to “sock” yarn!! This class helps you learn how to use double points and how to work in the round. SEE OUR MODELS! FEE - $60 Supplies additional  KNITTING 201 (2 Sessions) BEGINNER& UP Tuesday, Jan 24 & 31---7-9pm Wednesday, Feb 15 & 22---7-9pm If you have been knitting for even a short while, then this is a “must” class. Learn increase, decrease, cable, slipping stitches, yarn overs, picking up stitches, wrap and turn, sewing seams AND more! This class will get you to expand your “library of knit knowledge.” Once you have learned these new techniques, the knitting world will be at your feet!!! Bring to first session: cast on 20 stitches using a worsted weight, light color on size 7, 8 or 9 needle. Stockinette stitch for 5 rows. Bring to second session: (4) 4x4 knitted swatches in stockinette stitch using light color worsted—also bring the yarn. FEE - $40 Supplies additional CIRCLE-IN-A-SQUARE BABY AFGHAN (1 session) BEGINNER & UP Wednesday, Jan 25---7-9pm Tuesday, Feb 7---7-9pm Monday, Feb 27---10:30am-12:30pm Take crochet stitches, crochet them into a circle, then into a square? Yes, this makes one super baby afghan for girls OR for boys! PLUS....it doesn’t take a lot of yarn to crochet it!! As you’re enjoying this pattern, you’re also learning how to crochet in the round. BRING TO CLASS: Size H hook FEE - $20 Supplies additional  KNITTED LACEY DOILY (1 session) BEGINNER & UP Wednesday, Jan 11---7-9pm Thursday, Feb 9---7-9pm Monday, Feb 20---10:30am-12:30pm Take only 18 stitches and convert them into a doily...unheard of!? This is a fun project. No doubt. This teaches you how to short row PLUS it guides you so you know how many stitches you have on each row!! Our model is stitched up using PERTINIO semi-metallic yarn...you can use the yarn of your choice. Went up 3 needle sizes to get it lacey!! SEE OUR MODEL! BRING TO CLASS: At least 3 sizes of needles OR come in and pick out your yarn prior to class. FEE - $20 Supplies additional  3-2-1 CROCHET TWIRLY SCARF (1 session) BEGINNERS & UP Thursday, Jan 12---7-9pm Wednesday, Feb 1---7-9pm Monday, Feb 27---1:30-3:30pm You learned how to crochet with us and you made your first project. So all you need to complete this project is two stitches: single and double crochet...and guess what...you know how to do them!!! This project looks like it was hard to make...but isn’t. Finished our model in a few sittings and so will you. Once you make one, you’re gonna want to make them for everyone! SEE OUR MODEL! BRING TO CLASS - Size H or I hook FEE - $20 Supplies additional  WATERCOLOUR DREAMS ENTRELAC SCARF (1 session) BEGINNER & UP Monday, Jan 30---10:30am-12:30pm OR 7-9pm Wednesday, Feb 8---7-9pm Saturday, Feb 25---10:30am-12:30pm ENTRELAC is a fun technique that produces a project that looks like it has been woven into strips of basketweave. Working with ONLY 24 stitches, the technique used by this designer is the BEST in the market because of her perfected instructions. This scarf has been knitted up by many knitters and they always looked different because of the yarn used! If you want to have FUN knitting, then this is one class you need to take!! SEE OUR MODEL! FEE - $20 Supplies aditional  CORKSCREW KNITTED SCARF (1 session) BEGINNER & UP Monday, Jan 30---1:30-3:30pm Monday, Feb 20---1:30-3:30pm Wednesday, Feb 29---7-9pm It seems that all different types of scarves are becoming extremely popular. This is a bit different than the potato chip scarf that has been done before. This project uses slipping stitches and decreases and wraps and turns.
