3 NIGHT CRUISE of Fun and Sun!
LESLIE SOLOMON, teacher and shop owner of
FIBER FANTASY KNITTING PRODUCTS will be teaching HOW TO UNDERSTAND COLOR
while knitting a multi yarn shawl. Instructions and material list will
be provided at a later date, but.....be prepared to trade yarns with
your fellow students!!!
Leslie promises that you will learn so much at her sessions. Times of
class/classes and materials list will also
be provided at a later date.

SHIP: CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE’S IMAGINATION
ITINERARY: Ship leaves the Port of Miami at 4pm. Arrive Nassau on Saturday--ship
leaves Nassau on Sunday morning.
Class/classes will be on Sunday while we are out to sea.
Arrive Miami - Monday
morning.
PRICE: Inside cabin: $500 per person, double occupancy
Outside cabin: $540 per person, double occupancy
Want to bring a spouse or friend who will not be taking classes?
Deduct $100 per person.
Fee includes cruise, all port taxes, fuel charges and teacher’s

For the whole month of October, we will be having a knitting
trunk show WITH MODELS, courtesy of HandPainted Knitting Yarns. The
products will be kitted and there will be an assortment of shawls, sweaters,

NEEDLEPOINT TRUNK SHOW courtesy of EXCLUSIVELY ARLEEN will be exhibited
starting Friday, July 11. The canvases that will be exhibited
are penelope (double mesh) and are from Colleciton D'Art and Gobelin.
The variety, of over 100 canvases, wil be children, floral, animals,
art deco and more!! These canvases will have an additional 20%
off the already reduced price!!

HINT
This is one that I have put in my newsletter before, but I thought
it was worth repeating. If you made a mistake several rows down on a
knitting project, then there’s 2 things that you can do: either
FROG it (rip-it, rip-it) or you can knit to the stitch where the error
occured and remove it from the needle. Then pull on the stitch until
you get to your boo-boo and then correct it.
Several years ago while Steve and I were on a plane to our convention,
I was knitting a sweater and I realized that an error occured many inches
down. So I took the stitches off the needle and started ripping it out---then
I realized that all I had to do was go to that stitch on my needle,
take it off the needle, and rip the stitch down to the error and correct
it. Needless to say, I wasn’t upset because I taught myself something
new and I am able to pass this info to you!! So, if you make a boo-boo,
don’t fret, knit to the stitch and correct it. This saves you
LOTS of time re-knitting!!
